Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

DashPane ("we", "us") operates dashpane.app and the DashPane desktop application. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

  • Waitlist data: the email address and profile answer you submit through our early-access form.
  • Usage events: anonymous page views and interactions (e.g., pricing section views, CTA clicks) used to measure site performance.
  • Server logs: standard technical data such as IP address and browser user agent when you visit the site.
  • Order metadata: if you purchase, we receive your email address and order reference from our payment processor for licensing and support purposes.

We do not collect data about what you browse inside the app. Your layouts and workspace stay local to your machine.

3. How We Use Information

  • To manage the launch waitlist and notify you when your seat is ready.
  • To process purchases and provide license keys and support.
  • To understand aggregate site usage and improve the product.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

4. Payments

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, acting as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We only receive the order data needed to deliver your license (email address, order ID, product purchased).

5. Cookies & Analytics

This site uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and clicks. No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking profiles are used.

6. Data Sharing

We share personal data only with the service providers needed to run the business:

  • Lemon Squeezy, LLC — payment processing and order fulfillment (Merchant of Record);
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and storage of tracking and lead-capture data submitted through this site;
  • Email delivery providers — to send you launch notifications, if you joined the waitlist.

We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above: waitlist entries until you ask us to remove them or the list is retired, order records for as long as required by tax and accounting rules.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to its processing, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

DashPane is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
